On Your Mind ( the thing you are thinking about ... )
"on your mind"



The thing that you have been thinking about is what is on your mind. Example: "That tennis match is still on my mind." Another example: "You have been on my mind all day."

More specifically, what is on your mind can refer to something important that you have been thinking about and want to talk about. Example: "Bob, I'd like to talk with you." Reply: "Sure. What is on your mind?" Another example: "I can tell that something is on your mind."
