"as light as a feather"

Something that is very light is as light as a feather. Example: "Wow, you lift that box so easily!" Reply: "Oh, come on. It is as light as a feather."

A Feather falls slowly, pushed by the wind, and rests on your hand so lightly that you can barely feel it. Example: "Of course I can pick you up: You are as light as a feather." Another example: "Feel this bicycle: It is as light as a feather."
