Call It Quits ( stop working ... )

"call it quits"

You "call it quits" when you decide it is time to quit working, usually for the day. Example: "It is getting dark outside. Let's call it quits."

"Calling it quits" can mean that you are quitting that thing and will never do it again. Example: "This job is ridiculous. I'm calling it quits." Another example: "This relationship is not working out. Let's call it quits."
