"In The Middle Of Nowhere"

A place that seems far away from everything that you know and care about is in the middle of nowhere.

Example: "You are 30 minutes late and I have been standing here waiting for you in the middle of nowhere."

The middle of nowhere is a place that feels empty because it has nothing that you care about.

Example: "Where does Bob live?" Reply: "In the middle of nowhere."

Example: "It is a good company, but I don't want to live out here in the middle of nowhere."
