You are over the hill when young people think you are too old

Example: "Face it, Dad. You're over the hill."

You are no longer connected because you are old when you are over the hill.

Example: "At my age, no one wants to hire me. I'm over the hill.

You have lost the gifts of youth when you are over the hill.
