"Can't Carry A Tune"



A person who is completely unable to sing "can't carry a tune."

Example: "Sing with us!" Reply: "Sorry. You wouldn't want me to. I can't carry a tune."

Example: "My dad refuses to sing with us." Reply: "Why?" Answer: "He says he can't carry a tune."

Example: "Before taking singing lessons, she couldn't carry a tune."

Example: "He's fun to sing with, but to be honest, he can't carry a tune."
